I am Ambre Lostetter, originally from Nancy, the designer of ERA house. Ancient architecture, witness to a rich history, has always fascinated and nourished my imagination. This fascination stems from my interest in history and timeless aesthetics. Today, through my brand, I combine these influences to create unique pieces.

Every stitch I create tells a story, uniting the past and present, and expresses the art and history of the world. I strive to capture this essence in each creation, making my brand an ode to family heritage and my love for timeless beauty.

My career

My first choice, since my childhood, was towards the profession of heritage architect. However, after spending a Preparatory Year at the École de Condé in Nancy, I developed a very particular affinity for know-how in the fashion world.

In parallel with my Bachelor in Fashion Design, I took the CAP Art of Embroidery in Lunéville as a free candidate, both of which I obtained in 2021.

Keen to perfect my skills, I joined the “Intensive Program in Modeling and Styling” at the French Fashion Institute in Paris, thus broadening my technical knowledge.

My career began with freelance contracts, then a fixed-term contract at the Paris Opera, thus taking my first steps in the professional world.

I then opted for temporary status as a Model Mechanic. I have accumulated rewarding missions within prestigious houses such as Giambattista Valli, Givenchy, Mugler, Yves Saint Laurent, among others.

Despite the apparent instability of this professional choice, it offers me a diverse range of experiences, knowledge and know-how. This adventure proves to be as enriching on a professional and personal level.

Why did I launch Maison ERA?

The launch of my brand stems from a deep need for creative freedom. After years where decisions were dictated by studies and the professional world, I was looking to create something that truly reflected my choices, a company where I would be the sole decision-maker.

My professional journey has offered me enriching experiences, but it also revealed to me a lack of sharing of values and vision with existing brands. The idea of quality, transparency, and an authentic history of clothing pushed me to create my own vision of fashion.

My brand aims to embody the art of clothing, to offer pieces perfectly developed according to my vision, while offering individuals a means of expression, escape, and communication through clothing, thus creating personal evolution through fashion.
